My stay at the La Quinta was mostly enjoyable. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, though the entryway floor was a bit sticky, leading me to rate it four stars instead of five. The layout with the bathroom sink in the main room and separate toilet area was a bit unusual. I appreciated the convenience of the location near I-64 for a quick trip into Louisville, but was surprised by the $20 pet fee imposed by Wyndham at check-in.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean and service was great, but the noise levels were quite high with loud mechanical sounds and disturbances throughout the night. The location was convenient for traveling around the city, but some dining options were lacking.
I had a great stay at the La Quinta. The rooms were comfortable and had convenient amenities like a mini fridge and microwave. However, the location was a standout, being close to the major freeways with plenty of dining options nearby. The dining experience was satisfactory, but the service could have been more friendly.
